From Earthworms to Harvest The Organic Way to Farm
Earthworms turn waste into black gold—nutrient-rich compost that restores soil health and boosts crop yield. Discover the natural way to farm sustainably and profitably.
Bharat is a country that provides many benefits to its farmers. The government has implemented various schemes to support agriculture and the development of farmers. These include providing loans to farmers at low interest rates, ensuring fair prices for their crops, and offering modern technology and equipment to improve farming practices. The government also provides insurance to protect farmers from losses due to natural calamities. Additionally, training programs are conducted to enhance farmers' skills, and efforts are made to promote organic farming. The government ensures that farmers receive proper irrigation facilities and access to quality seeds and fertilizers. Overall, these initiatives aim to improve the lives and livelihoods of farmers across the country.
In the year 1990, with the aim of preserving cultural heritage and promoting the use of natural and organic methods, efforts began to provide agricultural training to farmers. These efforts focused on practical and organic farming techniques, encouraging farmers to adopt these methods. The goal was to make farmers self-reliant by using organic and practical farming practices, while also preserving the cultural heritage associated with farming. This initiative aimed to train farmers in organic farming techniques and encourage the use of natural resources, thereby promoting sustainable agriculture and empowering rural communities.
YashOrganic is a thoughtful initiative aimed at realizing the vision of healthy farming, healthy food, and self-reliant farmers in India. By promoting organic and natural farming, we aim not only to bring positive changes to the lives of farmers but also to provide consumers with chemical-free, nutritious, and certified organic products.
Our ambitious goals for the next 4 years are:
Our dream is to create a "Poison-Free India, Self-Reliant Farmers".
We not only focus on farming but also bring a vision for the future to the ground—protecting the environment, ensuring the health of consumers, and securing the dignity and safety of farmers.
YashOrganic is moving forward with you towards a greener and healthier India.
Farmers! By following the farming traditions of our ancestors and adopting natural farming methods, barren and unproductive land can be made fertile again. Through the efforts of Shri Subhash Palekar Ji, practical farming has been established as a successful model, yielding excellent results. Practical farming, as envisioned by him, has proven to be highly beneficial.
Shri Subhash Palekar Ji has demonstrated through practical farming that with minimal effort and cost, significant profits can be achieved. By adopting his methods, farmers can increase their income and improve their livelihoods. This approach to farming, known as "Zero Budget Natural Farming" (ZBNF), has gained widespread recognition.
Vermicompost, commonly known as earthworm compost, is a complete organic fertilizer that plays a vital role in increasing soil fertility and naturally enhancing crop production. This compost is specially prepared by decomposing organic waste with the help of earthworms.
Our primary goal is to promote the use of vermicompost so that farmers can adopt natural farming free from chemical fertilizers.
The main nutrients found in vermicompost are:
Our aim is to make this natural fertilizer available and accessible according to the environment, so that every farmer can move towards self-reliant, sustainable, and organic farming.
That’s why vermicompost is not just a fertilizer, but is considered the “nectar of the earth.”
Both natural and organic farming are methods of chemical-free agriculture, but their process, principles, and costs are different. Below is a simple comparison between the two:
Aspect | Natural Farming | Organic Farming |
---|---|---|
Definition | Farming based on nature, without any external input cost. | Chemical-free farming using organic materials. |
Main Objective | Zero cost and sustainable farming. | Providing healthy produce to consumers. |
Founder | Padma Shri Subhash Palekar (ZBNF Model) | No single founder, based on traditional farming. |
Cost | Zero or very low cost. | Some cost involved (organic manure, seeds, etc.). |
Input Source | Locally available materials like cow dung, urine, and jeevamrit. | Purchased organic manure, vermicompost, neem oil, etc. |
Relation with Nature | Practiced in harmony with the entire ecosystem. | Practiced in a controlled way, with environmental consideration. |
Impact | Improves soil health and biodiversity. | Improves soil quality but may take time and depends on inputs. |
